Keith Olbermann is a jerk

I'm sure this surprises no one, but I had a run in with Mr. Olbermann this afternoon on twitter. It all started with a semi-sarcastic tweet... I didn't attack him or anything he actually tweeted, just lamented that his twitter rant was over. Then, Mr. Olbermann decided to attack me. Since he could see where I work because it's in my twitter description, he continuted to attack me and say crazy things about my place of employment.

Remember folks, this is the man who got fired from both MSNBC and crazy Current TV, who then went to criticize my job.

Really, he made it way to easy for me to come back at him.

Then he came back with all sort of crazy. I don't even really understand it.

There was this:

And this:

Which doesn't even make sense ON TOP OF THE FACT that he edited my tweet -- he left out the part where I mocked him for his awful grammar... which I so nicely pointed out to him.

And he kept being all crazy:

Um... ok... Why is this man so obsessed with his ex employer?

Oh wait, I did ask him that... tehe.

Silence from Olbermann now.... although his trolls are on the loose!

Oy... This chick obviously doesn't understand that Keith's original "insult" was that I was the cardboard cutout... then again, you'd have to be a moron to be a fan of Keith Olbermann. Not even MSNBC or Al Gore could stand this man.

Olbermann must feel really great about himself, being that he is unemployed and attacking young women in their early twenties on twitter. What a gem.

  1. I think Olbermann claimed he quit Current, and Gore claimed he fired him. So when you said he was fired, he was saying you finally believed something Gore said, which is kind of ironically funny, since MRC generally characterizes Gore as not having a good grip on the truth. What Olbermann doesn't realize is that his "little" joke passed over most people's heads, because we honestly don't care if he was fired or quit. As you correctly pointed out, he is a jerk, a big, arrogant jerk.

  3. Ms Thatcher, there is no mystery. He replied to both your hashtags, which are both statements. You said "At least I have a job" and he replied, "You mean you HAVE to have a job." (Meaning he's now earned enough so he can work for fun, he doesn't HAVE to.) And YOU brought up Current in your second hashtag -- did you forget? So there's where the "obsession with his ex employer" is coming from. No need to puzzle over it any more. :-)

  4. Don't forget about how he also burned bridges at ESPN http://www.awfulannouncing.com/2011-articles/may/espn-book-excerpt-confirms-keith-olbermann-is-crazy.html:
